New Excedy Clutch Feels Softer than old worn clutch?

Hi Guys,

I just got my clutch changed to an Excedy HD MBK-7223 clutch. With labour costed me $1200. However, the clutch feels softer than my old worn one? Is this normal?

I had the sports tuff one in mine and it wasn't a heavy clutch.
Give it time to bed in. You will find it feels like a standard clutch but it bites a lot better

I don't know how but yes u can have more clamping pressure but also a lighter pedal feel. I would prefer a solid clutch and pickup point.
