Looking at the possibility of a new muffler in the nearish future, as the wife has allowed it. (Always nicer then sneaking it in behind her back...) What are the options out there other then OEM to make it sound a bit nicer, a bit louder, but not like a Civic circling the high school. That is more of a North American reference, but it works I'm sure.

I have a full 3" straight thru system from 2.5" downpipes into a straight thru jap can, its much deeper than a civic and sounds a lot better.

Other than that you may source a Ralliart rear muffler second hand from Yahoo Japan. It's just a rear muffler and will bolt to your stock center section.

I got my Fujitsubo Super Legalis R system second hand from Japan via BidJDM. The final bid on Yahoo Auctions was 14000 YEN but with fees, transport and customs, I ended up paying 550 EUR in total. So, be aware of the additional cost!

Exhaust systems seems to be in excellent shape. If I'd go to buy it, I had to add approx 300 EUR for shipping to Germany (by air, sea freight is cheaper) and 50 EUR for fees for Yahoo and BidJDM... Just to give you a rough idea what total cost might be involved.

This is my own tail pipe design and muffler replacement. It is straight through muffler with 3" perforated tube packed with exhaust wool.
It sound really good, nice and deep.
