Finally got my car on the dyno pre-further-engine changes.

Car spiked to 20psi, ran 18.4 to redline. Was missing like a pig (I suspect worn plugs) as can be seen in the graph. Also I've identified a problem with my meth setup running off MAF signal, as it dropped below second stage activation threshold and leaned out at about 6krpm causing it to lean out to around 13.5 -> 14:1 and the guy/tuner running the dyno indicated I have more power available there.

Anway, peak results: 314.5awkw, 509Nm Torque.

Twin TD04L-13T tubs
550cc injectors
Adam's 262 cams and valve springs
600x300x76 FMIC
HKS EVC 4 EBC
Walbro 255lph pump
Water/Meth injection (DIY)

Probably forgetting some stuff, but those are the important bits.

Wouldn't mind seeing some pics of my old girl Carl :p
If you haven't changed the plugs, I probably did them at around the 100,000km mark or less, so assuming its prob done over 200k now I would say they would be well worn!

that is a good result there, 314kw at wheels is about 420bhp
so you must be running 500+ bhp at the fly wheel.

is you car a manual or auto. sound like a cracking result.
and by the looks of you graph for bhp and torque you have few things to sort out, not exactly smooth, but i am sure the you can smooth out the delivery as you say you had a few issues.
i am very interested you set up as i have some tdo4-13T waiting to go onto my car at some point.

Some nice numbers there, especially if there is more to come! :D I'd be happy with a bit less than that I think! Although, I guess when you get there more is always nice.... It would be good to know how the drive train copes with all that too.

Dave have a chat with Tony (I think his username is babylon6 or similar) as he is running a W5A51 in his Evo and has broken assorted bits.

Yup, bottom end is stock. It hasn't been rebuilt since I've had it, and I don't recall David saying it had been. Been running on TD04's for 2 years at least.
Although it won't be for much longer. Adam is just waiting on the head studs for forged motor build.

I think I changed the front bank, but that was a while ago. Car is just shy of 220,000km mark. I'll try get some pictures, maybe with new engine :P (So it looks cleaner, haha).

Very impressive indeed - would love to see a video of it in action one day.

Nope never had the bottom end out of it.
Is it still the exhaust I made? All be it different down pipes obviously.
Have you done the clutch or any other things? Just interested to see how the things I did actually lasted with the power!
Obviously the engine is still going strong (without using amsoil mind you :p )

Yup, still the exhaust you made from downpipes back, I'm not sure but I think the first muffler was removed to fit downpipes. And the clutch has held up fairly well, just starting to feel soft/slippy now after about 25000km of TD04's on top of the km's it'd done after you'd replaced it, given the torque it's holding I'm impressed it's lasted this long.

Although I have to run around with the silencer in most of the time, as otherwise it's a touch on the loud side.

And given it's regular maintenance, I'm interested to see what the engine looks like inside after it's fairly long and abused life. Still has bugger all blow-by when you pop the oil cap off, unlike some I've felt.
