Interesting, I assume it goes higher than that?

it can lift past 90 probably to about 130 degrees

but i hopefully on the weekend will be hooking up the actuators so for now it will lift to about that on switches and eventually remote control

Wow, pretty nifty change to a regular 'boring' bonnet :)

haha cheers man.

I think its going to be a pretty cool mod once completed.

but who else agrees it kinda needs a purge kit for ptssshhh and smoke as it lifts :-)

Nice touch, I remember my old Skoda had a side opening bonnet, however that was a factory feature!!

Looks great but how high does that open? It doesnt look that high and working on the passenger side of the engine bay would be tough. But it looks amazing!

Looks great... What brand of wheels (http://4wheelonline.com/TruckWheels.1180) are does? It really made a big difference into the stance of your car.

I know the strut top is getting worse lol itll be gettig welded up as soon as I can get over to the bodyshop, its ok, the car isnt a daily runner.

Its a bonnet off job for working on it but again thats not much of a pain, its just four nuts and its off.

It seems to have been getting good responses at the two shows its been to, really need to get my bay looking smart asap!!

The wheela are ssr koenigs 9.5/10j 18's

Had a look around your Legnum at Japfest today. Whilst the mods are not the sort of things I would do to my own car the bonnet was interesting. Saw a lot of people stop to take a look at it!

Haha, yeah my car is a pretty acquired taste!! And is definately not built as a daily driver :-)

The bonnet certainly does seem to get a lot of people wondering what the hell it is!
