Hi ive just joined the vr4 club and the burning question is do de cat pipes work and does it affect the exhaust sensors I have a 3inch stainless steel exhaust system and adout to fit a de cat pipe could any one please advice cheers.

Sensor is on the downpipe so you will be fine. Plenty of users are running 3 inch decat pipes.

Theoretically it should increase performance, I fitted one to my first VR4 and it made the aftermarket exhaust a tad louder. Due to fit one to my current car next week but that will be with aftermarket downpipes as well.
