hey guys

do you know how to reprogram the 2000 galant VR4 JDM key to work on another vr4?
i have this model in the pic

Yes it's possible. Have a look into the workshop manual. :)

But it's worth to mention that FL keys do not work on PFL cars (and vice versa).

i'm not to good with the acronyms but i'm guessing that they mean facelift and pre facelift.
If so, i know for sure that both of them are facelifts.
I did a conversion in 2010. It was a GDI engine before
The buttons on the original key work still after i did the conversion so i wanted to reprogram the key i got with the front cut i bought.

i might buy a blank key in the near future to program but i just cant get the car to go in program mode:coat

If the car had the same style remote from factory it will work. If the GDI had a separate remote (not built into the key) it won't work.

Do you have a workshop manual, then go to section 42. It's explained there. If not, become a paid member and you will get Access to one.

A blank key with remote can be bought from eyeballprawn on here. It's way cheaper then buying from the dealership - for OE Mitsi items
