It's in "limp" mode so you probably don't need a new box. When was the ATF last changed and what fluid was used.

6months ago and I used amsoil oil , ive checked oil level and looks fine... :(

Your video shows your N is flashing at what looks like 1 sec intervals which means a crap input shaft sensor or output shaft sensor or A/T control relay. As a quick fix you might try disconnecting the battery for 20 mins and letting it relearn but I reckon it's a sensor. Try pulling the codes that should tell you.

No disrespect but do a bit of searching there are plenty of posts on this and I suspect there is something in the articles section.
you asked for advice in another thread, why not post in that one what you have done following that advice?

sorry about that , guys I mixed my both threads, what I did we cleaned all sensor and refill gearbox oil , car still wont go above second gear , spoke with automatic gearbox specialist and advised me to find new gearbox...
still looking for new gearbox , anyone got one for sale? :>

I found one for legnum , will it fit mine saloon vr4 ??

I've yet to meet a "gearbox specialist" who understands or knows anything about our boxes! I still recon it's a sensor but if you have found one cheap why not.

That's one of them yes. I hope someone here can say how to test it before you spend that much. Maybe someone here has got one to spare. Try a WTB post.

Ive spoke with "gearbox specialist " he told me that sensor is operating fine had been checked on computer, no faults with that also he told me there was lots of silverbits in oil , still lookin for sensor ?
have you considered doing a manual conversion?
