Just had four new tyres and tracking checked, only when I got home noticed the tracking report shows 2003-2006 in the model description. Slightly concerned as what may have been set at the correct tracking is now for that of a 2003-2006 something-or-other :/ Any ideas?

Just out of interested when was the car imported? Between 2003-2006? Maybe they have just put down the date range that it was first registered in the UK.

Bit of a long shot but youd like to think they put something like that down rather than having the tracking done to the settings of a 2003-2006 Shogun lol.

That's the thing, it's a 52 reg non import. Just checking that there's no blindingly obvious reason before I question them

Aha that's my random idea out of the window. Being a 52 plate it may have been first registered at the beginning of 2003 before the '03 plate came out. But you'd think they would've entered 98-03 on it. Hmm I can't think of anything else I'm afraid. (other than pure Mitsubishi incompetence lol)

Is that the before or after values?

Because, whilst everything is "technically" "within specs" - it is still massively out, and I certainly wouldn't have been happy paying any money for that result. It appears that every single wheel is pointing to the right, which means to go straight, the car is "crabbing" down the road.

I assumed they were before and after to be honest as tracking isn't something I know a great deal about. I'm having it re-checked next Monday and don't really need the car between now and then but when I got back this morning having driven 25 miles the front tyres were definitely warmer at the outside edges with about a inch rim of shaded rim as if they'd been scrubbing. Back tyres looked and felt fine with no heat/warm patches.

that looks like your after values,

that is one SH1T alignment job.

they can only adjust toe in/out, thats 4 simple joints to either move in or out. get your money back, i wouldn't trust them to fix it

I would have to agree with the above - that is a fairly average wheel alignment. They have put it into the green (just!) and kicked it out the door
