1 PISTON, BIG END BEARINGS, HEAD SET NEEDED DESPERATELY!!!

Hi there to everyone
Ive just stripped down my engine to investigate a none compression issue with my Legnum VR4, found a piece broken off the crown on 1 cylinder which has contaminated all the other cylinders with aluminium fragments.
My problem now is trying to locate some new parts for the re-build. Hoping you guys might be able to help me track some parts down because i'm dead in the water.
I need:
1X PISTON
1X SET OF BIG END BEARINGS
1X HEADSET
These parts should be enough to get me back up and running, any leads for these parts would be much appreciated guys.

You can message me through the club or mobile me 07970672331
Kind Regards
Dave

Many people go for a replacement engine at this point. I can offer you one of those if you'd like? ;)

I don't see how a fail of one piston can cause contamination of other cylinders.
What ever is each of the cylinders can only have come from within that cylinder.
Unless the offending metal bits found there way into the cylinders through the inlet valves. In which case the only source of metal fragment from outside the cylinder would be turbo compressor wheel bits.

Well that is my view on the situation you have described, in which case a replacement engine would be my way forward.

Hi there, any chance you can give me a call/txt, with a cost of what you want for it?

There will be several engines available, the one I am selling is £450 including ancilliaries, £300 without. In my book ancilliaries include turbos, manifolds, injectors, coil packs, alternator, p/s & a/c pumps etc. Hope that helps.
