View Full Version : Legnum Roof-rails - to be or not to be?
Is there a conscensus between members on Roof-rails?
1. Do you prefer your Legnum with or without?
2. Did you buy with or without?
3. Did you have fitted or removed?
PErsonally mine came with and I like the look of it with /yes :2thumbsup

Mine came with them and I think it makes the car more a family car until you hit the gas :2thumbsup

My Leggle will have roof rails if I can help it! :2thumbsup
So:
1: With
2: Hopefully with!!
3: If not, I may consider fitting a set - I believe the UK estate roof bars would fit on.

No roof rails for me. probably wouldnt have bought the car if it had them.
they MUST cause extra wind resistance! hehe.

Was waiting for someone to mention wind resistence - eh Kenneth /yes

A good wash and polish too?
Personally I have roof rails on mine, dont like them as much without. I think they look a bit nekkid without them!

I believe the UK estate roof bars would fit on.
I thought Rhys had said that legnums without bars are missing some internal bracing, so bars cannot be retro-fitted?
If they can be, I would seriously consider doing so.

lol
When I am driving at SPEED (er.. only on private roads of course...) then yes, the windows get wound up...
lol, thanks for the advice on the AYC and spare! :D
Actually, I dont actually regard wind resistance as a reason not to have the roof racks, I just prefer the look of them without. :rolleyes4

Mine has roof racks, but I think they look better without.
The racks make it look higher, so obviously it doesn't look as low as one without.

I removed the rails from the V6 and yes it did screw into some additional bracing, but this looked like it this bracing was attached to the lekky sunroof
bracing so it is possible that you may have the fittings there already?
