Battery won't fit

Hey guys, just bought a new battery, Exide EA640 as reccomended on this form however can't seem to get the bugger to fit. It seems like its too big for the clamp on top? Am I being a numpty or is it gonna have to be a botch job?

You need uk spec top clamp too as jdm is narrower.
