asc skiddy car light staying on

A little help please. Car went for mot and failed on emissions (now fitted a cat so hopefully sorted) and asc light is on. Now, my ayc light is on aswel as the pump is goosed (tried the adjustable valve which worked for a while).
I've tried the paper clip diagnostic test but the asc light just stays lot the whole time. Ayc fault says pump pressure if memory serves.
Any ideas, car is a coty so pfl auto. Not bothered about losing the asc, just need the light gone. Last resort is pulling the bulb of coarse.

Sorry, that's a new one on me. I've seen the bulb light up and then give an error code on the flashy dash but no error code? Also, a constant light indicates it's not entering diagnostics - the light should give a constant flash rather than stay lit. I think the ASC and AYC systems might be in the same ecu?

Looking at the Galant manual at the TCL section (I assume it's the same but can't understand the Japanese Legnum manual!) it seems it could be the TCL ecu faulty or poor connection between ecu, instruments or connector behind stereo panel.
Make sure you check the fuses first!

Cheers guys. Thinking back, think the light cane on when I fitted a parrot, so may have dislodged something. So it's centre console and clocks out? any idea what these plus and switches look like? Lot of them back there.
