I am looking for a clutch that can handle launches and some stop start traffic with power around 300hp or less.
At the moment my current stock clutch slips in high gears under load. i.e at 3k rpm, under wot the clutch fails in gears 3-5.
Any advice?
I'm thinking of this one.

Talk to SAF68 as he sells a pretty good 6-puck clutch :)

What is your definition of a launch? I wouldn't do anything past 2.5-3k atm.

Another option is to take the clutch to MP Auto Parts in Upper Hutt and get them to rebuild it. Think its in the region of $5-600 to get done.

If i wasnt going down the route of a brand new std exedy id go down that route.

I may be persuaded to loan out my spare clutch/flywheel out to get it rebuilt if that might help?

I think I might go with the Stage 1 Exedy Heavy Duty clutch. Thoughts on that?

If only I had more money haha. Maybe I'd do that.

I have a HD cover with 5 puck disc. that I may be persuaded to sell for the right price.
