Galant V6 Mid Section

Just booked my car in to have the exhaust mid and back section replaced next week and they've come back to me saying that can't source the mid-section as it's a discontinued part. Have looked on ebay but to no avail. Can anyone recommend where I might be able to get one from without a trip to the Mitsubishi stealership?

It's a 2002 V6 Galant Elegance

Where it has been book in? as I think any exhaust place can fabricate exhaust parts as its nothing complicated and will cost lot less than dealer part???

Just a generic autocentre. I haven't tried any others to be honest

Ah, ok now, somehow I was thinking that you book in to exhaust place to deal with your exhaust repair, sorry.

I think Adam means a fabrication shop rather than a fitting shop. That could well be cheaper than a genuine mitsy part.
