Pleasant few hours

Just spent afternoon with few christchurch members, workshop type day with adam doin his usual knowlegable act, changing cams and springs in no time, and i heard the sweetest sounding vr4 ever carls 400 0dd hp galant big lobed cams made my need for viagra vanish, good see you guys,some hot stuff coming from christchurch. To all club vr4 members a merry christmas and horsepower filled newyear. Whoops capitals sorry dont have energy to redo.

i think we would all love to see the result. it will be a snapshot of what is possible with all the correct bits. and the exact cost will become apparent very soon when adam and friends offer the upgrade.
and if you don't have the budget then it is something you know is possible and you can shoot for something close to it.

it will be great for everyone.

Adam already does offer the cam regrinds - I think Carl had a dyno done with the regrinds in place?

I am super jealous. I've been thinking about a trip to CHCH next year to check out some of these awesome VR-4s and engine builds, maybe attend a meet or show some support at a track day :D

Heh Goku when we went for a spin to your dads it was only on low boost because I forgot to put the boost controller vac line on.

yeah it was dynoed at 422hp atw with the old regrinds. but now it has full billet cams, porting, forged pistons and conrods and all the other bits. so once I get around to putting the adjustable cam pulleys on it and setting them up it will hit the dyno and we will be resetting the club VR4 horsepower record with it.

And Davezj heres my thread with prices and some pics for the stuff I offer. intrest from you UK kids is lacking. you all need to catch up to us here in Christchurch!

Yea, I figured it was a bit tamer than it looked on the track, I just thought you were going easy on it lol.

I figure we'll have to try and do a few more regular meets over this year, with getting people's cars back on the road and what not.
