Hey, since there is no recent threads to this topic, just would like to know your kpl or mpg. On open roads I get 9.5L per 100 and around town, moderate driving, I get 11L per 100km

15mpg around town, 20 on a long run. Both featuring WOT here and there. That's on LPG which is around 54.9p per litre compared to 117.9 for V Power. Oh and my sodding downpipes are leaking too so those figures are with overfuelling.

Cruising at 70MPH 11-12 ltr/100km or ~23 MPG

Sensible in town 15-18 ltr/100km or ~17 MPG

All above on LPG and with manual gbox

How many litres is a full tank Ken? Some people will say 48/49 because that is when the light first comes on. Some will say 60 litres because that is when the tank runs dry. That could mean you are getting anything from 18 to 23 mpg round town. You need to give a bit more information for it to be useful.

I recently had work about 30 miles door to door (from home). I would fill her up on Monday and I would usually need to refuel on Thursday. By that I mean the light had been on for a few miles, maybe 10. So roughly 240 miles, I usually on fill her up to the first click, maybe 55-60 litres.....

Virtually the whole journey on m25 and a road...

in my stock black VR4 i used to regularly get 28-30 mpg on a run and 20-23mpg round town. on v-power.

on a modified vr4 it is completely different story, which is why i went for LPG, now i don't bother working out the MPG on a regular basis because it ony cost 61p at the shell station at the end of my road. but round town it is about 17mpg and on a run it is about 22-24mpg.

My average is about 11.0L/100Km, but my last two tanks have been 8.34 and 9.89. My car has only basic mods and a tune.

Hmmmm. That's really weird, I get 11L/100 (26mpg). I fill the car up about 45 Litres each time and get about 420-450kms on it. That's with some spirited driving too :O Am I missing something - the car is stock though.

Jnic0..
That's what I would expect from a sock VR4. Mines far from stock and getting 20-21mpg, your mpg is around 26mpg.? Depends also if that's all urban driving or mixed?

I used to keep updated using Fuelly.com, just enter the number of litres that you put in, price of the fuel and current odo reading and it'll keep track for you, as per signature.

Right! After saying I haven't been on a long run for years. Today I had a chance to put 128.1 miles on the clock in a round trip to Nottingham. I brimmed the tank before I left, and brimmed it again with bit of spillage :( as I was trying to ensure accuracy of the fill.
It took 18.76litres to refil to the brim. By my calculations that works out to 31.026 mpg or 9.1 litres per 100 kms(in new money)
I was averaging around 65mph on A roads and 40mph on B roads. I also have a slight blow from the exhaust in the large flexi.
Not to bad from the old girl ❤️❤️❤️

Mine gets used daily and I usually do between 200 and 230 miles to tank, no idea what that works out. Never really bothered me! When the light comes on I fill it up, sometimes the fill ups are more frequent, other times they are not, depends how the mood takes me!
