Bit of a stab in the dark, but I was just wondering... has anyone got any sort of rough estimate towards how many MANUAL vr4's there are in the UK? I'm holding my breath for one but feeling it could take a long time. Failing that, can anyone tell me roughly how much a manual conversion would cost? Thankyou.

Manual conversion is £1200 to £1500 depending on how much the labour is and how expensive the conversion kit is. Also budget more if you want to replace the clutch etc whilst you are there.

As to how many - no idea! There is a thread somewhere that tells you the number of manuals made and the total number of 8th gen VR4s made. At a guess I'd say that approx 1 in 10 were manual, but I know of a few conversions so it may be closer to 1 in 5 now. But how many VR4s are there in the UK? Take a guess at 200ish, so 20-40 manuals? I could be way off with those numbers though.

I got one :-) but mine is a conversion.

It came in at around 2k with evo clutch flywheel, gearbox and fitting.

Another convert here IIRC £1100 for bits in 2012 and I did it myself.
