I'm just sorting out the wiring for my FTO VR4 conversion and have a couple of questions. I am using the ECU pin-out diagram from the site ...

On Connector 2 - Pins 1 & 2 it shows a Vent Control Solenoid Valve and a Vacuum Solenoid Valve. The manual VR4 loom I have does not have any wires in these pin-outs ... can anybody shed any light on what these are for and why I might not have them?

You guys seem to have two fuel pump relays, i've read one drops the voltage to the pump at idle. Would it be OK to not bother with this voltage dropping relay? .. I have a Walbro 255 pump and SARD FPR

Any help appreciated

Thanks

The solenoids are part of the traction control system. I have never seen a manual vr4 with traction control.

I'd imagine that your Walbro will be fine, although they can be noisy at full voltage so you will probably hear it at idle.

Ah, that makes sense .. something else i can forget about then.

Yeah my pump is quite a noisy puppy but its not a problem to me .. my car isn't a very refined ride ;)

Thanks for the advice
