Helloo everybody!

I decided to join the club because of building something rare in this side of Europe. I've been owning Mitsus for six years (would have been even more, but not that old yet) and at the moment I have two Galants, one which I bought in May 2014 and other one, I traded for winter-ride Bemar. Second one will be on roads until August this year, because body is in bad shape and it won't pass MOT. The first one is my fifth Galant and I guess, the best one. Here's how it looked like in September:

71602

Planned to rebuild the engine, but it would have been too expensive. So I found a Legnum engine from Lithuania and bought it. Now I have it on my car, but it needs some parts and overspray and of course rust protection. This summer I'm planning to run on 2WD 206kW :)

This winter/spring I'm trying to get it going, but plans for next winter are changing the fuel tank and get rid of the trailer hitched up on the back of the car. So, in 2016, I'm hoping to run on AWD. More pictures and stuff is being checked by moderators at the moment ;)

If you are stating with a 2wd chassis and planning on converting to 4wd. That is a big job as there is no transmission tonnes for the prop shaft to go in, and I am not sure if the 4wd rear subframe will fit. It might I don't know for sure. But will be some major modification on the chassis for sure, just to get the prop tunnel in.

Maybe you start with a non turbo 4wd chassis, and build from there.

There wasn't any versions of 8g galant AWD with LHD afaik.
Aap, please post more pictures, I'm very interested in a build like that aswell.

Remove the space between "foto" and "album" and you should see a live gallery of my car.

i think there has been a few a RHD to LHD conversion done in the rest of europe to make the VR4 more drivable over there, and i would have throught it would have been an easier project to do that than try and convert a FWD to a 4WD.

I guess LHD VR-4 is not as rare as LHD 4wd n/a galant ;)

I haven't seen a 4wd N/A Galant in Baltics or Finland...

First 100km drive is done, car is awesome :upsidedow . At the moment, I'm doing a full over spray and still looking for some missing parts.
