Not sure if these guys do a conversion or just utilise what you've got but they have the 1997 galant/legnums listed as cars they can do. Might be worth giving them a ring and seeing what they can do for us.

I don't have it anyhow, but the way I read this is that they can utilise your screen for other things not convert your sat/nav to English etc - this is what the website says:

"We are unique in the UK in being able to offer our customers the option of any multimedia source integrated into the factory fitted screen of Japanese imported vehicles. We can offer TV, satellite navigation, DVD, video and playstation options, which operate through the existing monitor. All existing functions remain unchanged, and all operate via supplied remote controls.

We also have a large range of dash mounted, headrest, seat and roofmount LCD screens for nearly every location, and can supply wireless headphones etc for your needs."

Have you seen the price of after market satnav systems?
I don't udnerstand why people want to bother about converting the original which is most like very inferior to a cheapy replacement.
