nooob looking to buy a 2.5 v6 sport

Hi all.
i'm here as i am seriously looking at a 2.5 v6 sport.
any advice on what to look out for?
one very close to me and very cheap is a triptronic box, i'd refer a manual, what are pros and cons? is triptronic much slower 0-60?

Rust can be a killer on these cars now - check under the wheel arches and the inner strut towers in the engine bay. I answered some of the performance questions in your other thread.
