ecu flash problems....HELP PLEASE!!!!

Hi guys,facing a little problem with my friend's vr4,we tried to flash it today but when we plug in the openport 2.0 the lights is not coming,when we tried to flash it's saying error ocuring...

So you mean that the lights (different colored leds) in the openport does not light up when connected to the ODB socket (without USB connected)? Does the Openport work in another car?

My openport works great on my car,once plugged in on my car the colour LED's will start blinking,but that's not happening on my friend's vr4.

That indicated that the constant +12V feed or ground to the OBD socket is missing.

Do you have the wiring diagram for the OBD socket?
