Damned wheel bearings

Need to do the passenger side wheel bearing after it started humming, was praying that it would not be seized to the driveshaft like the drivers one last year.........it bloody is, two hub pullers later ( both snapped ) pulled the whole knuckle and driveshaft out put it on a hydraulic press and at 25 tons of pressure it still wouldnt shift even with heat and the cv joint shaft started to bend, grrr, time for a new CV joint and split the shaft and replace the knuckle/bearing and CV in a one.....at least I have a spare knuckle sat in the cupboard...lol....bloody car

I know this is not you fault, it is down to the last person that fitted the drive shaft to the hub. I have see shaft seize in a couple of years. but I would like point out that a little smear of copper grease when the splined shaft was inserted originally would have made the separation so much easier, it cost next to nothing and take almost no time to do and yet people stool don't do it. It beggers belief.
