WM542 gearbox fitment question

I have a person asking me if the WM542 manual VR4 gearbox will fit on a 6a12 engine, does anyone know? I have been reading but am not sure if the bellhousing is the same as the 6a13 engines or not.

I'm pretty sure that the bell housings are the same.
