Hi guys does anyone know of any High Street stockists of fuel hose fittings at all?

I am after 1x 1/8npt to 7-8mm (ID) barb for my fpr so I can attach my sender for my digital fuel pressure gauge.

I know I can order these online but want to fit it this weekend sometime so after a shop so I can guarantee I will have it.

Is this something a motor factor or dare I say it...Halfords may have in stock?

Round the Midlands we have a chain of shops called listers that supply hydraulic stuff. They often have weird stuff like that on the shelf.

Don't know the place where to get them from but if you decide to get them from halfrauds then buy fire extinguisher too. Anything to do with fuel MUST be good quality branded stuff.

Rikki, if not in hurry try eBay. I use to get all npt or -AN stuff from there, never had any problems either with dual fuel lines build, meth lines or oil lines.

Cheers for replies and advice guys adaxo yeah totally mate Halfrauds is always the last resort haha.

Listers rings a bell actually Nick Ill keep them in mind.

I did manage to find autofittings-uk and they gauranteed next day delivery and low and behold they were true to their word and I now have it :)

Although I have just checked the fuel pressure sender and it has a 1/8npt connection on the bottom so can just connect straight into the FPR.

Just need to find my PTFE tape I know its here somewhere!!

NPT threads are self-sealing, no need for PTFE tape. But remember, if you have aluminium fitting or base, DON'T overtight them, you likely will do damage to threads. IMO, the best are brass or steel parts with NPT threads.
