An interesting thread here (http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=69562&perpage=15&pagenumber=1) on MLR about AP's new floating discs. Somewhere around 800 squids including DS2500 pads for a set :shocked: so they're in between Nationals/BD and a full big disc upgrade. Should go on post facelift cars...

Allegedly better for those of you who suffer from warping (ooer missus!)

we have had floating discs on bikes for years , the main benifit is a more equel expansion rate which means less chance of warping and a cool rattling sound when braking sounds like the armoured division rolling in (just ask anyone who has owned a ducati) there is one downfall though and that is the extra unsprung weight which does not help the handling ,well that and the cost .
