What does "Impeding vehicle when passing" mean??
Is is overtaking someone and the person behind behind you wants to over take faster so your impeding them???
So if I ever get caught over taking at 150Km I can say I didn't want to impede the person behind me :)

or
is it speeding up when someone is trying to over take you?

well its illegal to overtake somebody if overtaking will require you to break the spreed limit. so your 150kph scenario shouldn't come into effect.

i think alll those rules are great.

a lot of those are used when an accident occurs so that they can fine and demerit the person in "the wrong"

in other words, the police call out charge and then the slap on the wrist :P

Damn!!!

I just got 35 points 5am this Sunday, just when my all my old points expired as well. Got caught doing 121km coming from the city on the wester motorway.

Strange thing was my detector didn't pick them up at all and it usually does. Time for a new detector me thinks.

got done twice within a month doig 21km/h over the limit... total of 70 points. added to the 25 I already had for a motorcycle accident leaves me 5 points :rolleyes4

So much for discretion though eh... at 5am I cant imagine you posing much of a risk to anyone but yourself... Opps, you put a scratch on the armco and totalled your car :P
