is this the earlier pre-facelift one, or the later facelift fitment? I believe that the operate differently?

It came out of a 1999 face lift if that helps

They changed at the second facelift. Manufacture date around May 2000. If this was in a 1999 then it will work with early facelifts, chassis codes EC5x 020xxxx and EC5x 030xxxx.

Sorry been snowed under hacking down a jungle in my backyard and clearing out the garage. No worries, hope its gone to a needy home,I was just gonna take it for a back up but Im hoping my AYC issues are gonna be cured by a new ABS ring/Hmmm
