EvoScan 1.3U or Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 cable (AYC support)

I am looking at replacing the AYC pump fluid so will need to bleed the system. I have seen the hardware method (connecting switches to the AYC ecu connector) but not sure about bypassing the pressure switch.
EvoScan 1.3U will work with the AYC system on Evos 4/5/6/7/8/9 so from what I understand should work on the VR4, however given that if I order the Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 cable from the Tactrix site there is only about £10 in it would this be a better investment and still work with EvoScan to bleed the AYC system?

I purchased from eBay, unpackaged carefully, did the job then returned it :-)

Morally wrong but financially good.
