Just had this happen to me today, on the highway.
7277072771

Two things that struck me:

How can this thing just fall off? Was something mis-installed by the previous owner(s)?
There is so much dirt underneath it! Corrosion prone area methinks

Can anyone help with a part number to get a replacement?

this happens when this thing was removed before and the plastic clips have not been replaced prior to reinstall it. The whole thing is held by plastic clips which easily break when uninstalling it. So the only solution is to replace all the clips prior to reinstall it.

But you are lucky, you can source the new liner with all clips attached for cheap money. In Germany, it costs 130 EUR per side - complete with all clips etc. Part# is MR192693 (moulding, drip, LH)

Thanks for the explanation. I think I can get this moulding used even cheaper than that, but it all hinges on whether I can source the clips themselves. I'm guessing not, or not cheap.

Or I just do it the ghetto way and affix the new moulding using silicone sealant, tactical black. At least that'll prevent gunk from getting under the it.

All clips new will be 60 EUR - so in my point of view it does not make sense to buy the moulding used and the clips new. And "glue" this thing to the car is a no-no as there will be no chance to take it off if the windscreen needs to be replaced. Sorry, but I cannot understand why people should do this, instead of use the proper way to install such things... :(

You may be right about having problems with windshield replacement. In fact I suspect the moulding that I lost may have been glued in the first place, since there aren't even bits of the clips left behind.. I will call the stealership tomorrow and find out if they have this. Thanks

Edit: Found a complete set of part no. for the LH side, RH side and clips:

1pc. MR192693 MOULDING,DRIP,LH
1pc. MR192694 MOULDING,DRIP,RH
1pc. MR341105 CLIP,DRIP MOULDING
1pc. MR341106 CLIP,DRIP MOULDING
2pc. MR135945 CLIP,DRIP MOULDING
2pc. MR358056 CLIP,DRIP MOULDING
2pc. MR135946 CLIP,DRIP MOULDING
2pc. MR349671 CLIP,DRIP MOULDING
2pc. MR349670 CLIP,DRIP MOULDING
2pc. MR349669 CLIP,DRIP MOULDING

Seems that the lot can be had from the US for $100 + shipping + taxes. Ordered it online, let's see what happens...

Hopefully you can get the proper clips. But just a point worth mentioning..... Never use silicone adhesives on a car, it causes rust! use urethane meant for gluing in windscreens, it's also handy for fastening other bits of trim. a few little blobs and tape the trim down for 24 hours. :3d:

Clips are available on Amayama (UAE). Mouldings are not available (JP). Will need to get the moulding used after all.

Guys, the molding is available in Europe. I bought both sides new approx 2 weeks ago! If you order the moulding it will come with ALL clips already attached. Believe me, you won't buy this overseas - this is a 3m long cardboard box!!!

I checked with the local dealership and indeed Mitsu have some mouldings left, in the Netherlands. Not a lot left though, and the price is 150EUR/side over here.
