I must take issue with the price there mate.
£9500 for an X reg Ralliart VR4, with 35k and full Mitsi history???? What are you on?
Thats got to be a £13k+ car.
What's the catch? Cat C, Cat D?, Stolen Recovered? :evil2:

I wouldn't put it THAT high... That would have to be a mintiest of mint late '02 VR-4 at that price.

I think £9,500 will secure a good quick sale - Five figure VR-4s are slooow sellers.... But I take your point that £9,500 is indeed very cheap.

It's a shame I'm after a Leggle.... :embarasse

Had a quick look on the Autotrader website - comparable age/mileage cars going for around £12k - and they aren't Ralliart ones with FMSH.
If I had £9k, i'd offer your man here cash, and resell it for £12k in the trader :scholar: , then spend £3k getting AP 6 pots, drop it, exhaust and probably a custom remap /yes

...Can't argue with that!

Flippin heck! Good price. If I wanted a saloon... and had 9.5K :)

I know there are mutterings about low prices, but it seems these cars really aren't moving... overvalued atm? :|

Mind if I ask why you want to go back to an EVO? Are you not impressed with the VR4? What is the difference in the drive?

the vr4 is better quality nd more comfortable but loses out big time on performance, handling, looks and generally grin factor, must admit this vr4 is cracking though, the evo is more easily tuneable also
cheers

Handling maybe - but performance? I would quite happily sit next to any EVO at the lights! :)

Have to agree about tuning.....but half the fun is developing our own scene!

Good luck with the sale and with pending EVO ownership

But your Leggle is fully Ninja-Tuned up!! A standard Legnum 260 vs EVO? Hmm.... EVO wins! Roadality! :evil2:

Brian.....you read my mind /yes
after speaking to you last sunday ,i showed this "VR4 for sale" to my wife and said,i think Brian would like this,as you did say about your own "how hard a car it would be to part with"
not sure the exact reason i thought it but low mile's,same car and kean price with the few mile's it's covered you'll get good use from a Mitsubishi Warranty
hope you enjoy it mate,it look's a "top example"
(are you swapping some part's...ie:Brembo's,alloy's)

i wish i was in a position to make an offer for your 98 VR4! :embarasse

Cheers, Ian. It seemed too good an opportunity to miss. As I said to Spirit above, not sure what I'll do yet - once I get the car, I'll put it to the vote (looking for inspiration!)

keep the new one standard and turn your other into "more of a track car" than it is at the moment?
(/yes strip it out and do an "EVO type rally car theme with it")
