View Full Version : Know your VR-4 parts?

Does this rubber plug look familiar to any experts here? Found sitting on top of autobox.
10mm spanner for size comparison.

Never seen it before. Quite sure it's not a VR4 part, but something that was accidentally dropped. Looks a bit like a plug to avoid dirt getting into a connector, looks somewhat like the shape of an injector.

Although I've only fiddled with 1 VR4 with autobox (for several years though) I've taken the complete car apart up until the last screw and this plug... never seen it!

you're right, could very well be an open connector plug.

it could be the breather port that fits into a hole on top of the auto gear box if i remember rightly. i think there is a right angle breather in the auto box. i can't really tell from the angle of the picture.


does it have a hole running through the middle of it or is it solid?

It is not perforated.

It looks like a blank for an unused connector to me
