This is my spare ECU for MT VR4 Part number MD 340288 and i think Its about time to go to a new master. It has MH7202 Processor on board, so Its flash able ECU that you can customize the ROM or upload VR4 aftermarket ROM like Mine's and KS ROM. . Work fine when used. I have remove speed, RPM and Boost Restriction only and other mapping remain stock. I can restore the ROM back to factory if you prefer that way. What you see is what you get, I am looking for 125GBP plus shipping, maybe 20GBP to europe with register mail. for fast respond email me to ersan.cholidin@yahoo.com

Boost restriction is meaning fuel cut when are trying to boost above stock boost permit at 0,5-0,7 bar. I dont know what ECU you are currently using, but this stock ECU is flash-able. if you are running just stock ROM then no difference with your current ECU. but you can flash this ECU with Mine's Rom ECU, KS Rom ECU, then it will be make differences than stock ROM ECU

An ECU with a manual ROM will not work in an auto.

But, this ECU can be re-flashed with a ROM suitable for an automatic.

So, no, it won't be immediately plug-and-play, but it is physically compatible with your vehicle.

Is a 340288 ecu flashable with ecuFlash or do you need MMCflash to read and write the roms to the ecu.

It has been a that long since I spent any time working my car I can't remember.

so okay, my ecu will work on AT VR4 but one should flash it with A/T ECU ROM before use, am I right Garry?

What Garry said in #7

If you buy it? Find a tuner or anyone that can re-flash it and your done. I'm currently running a 7202 MT in my Auto thanks to :eurospec:
