What's the story behind this? Some kind of quarter-mile CVR4 meet results?

Just 1/4 mile info if you have been to a track and had a timed run. There used to be a column for an uploaded photo of the slip to prove you had actually achieved the numbers!

Ah OK, thanks for the explanation. 0-60 times would've been awesome to list as well :-)

there was a thread with G-Tech pro times in as well for 0-60 times.

here is the old G-tech thread

funnily enough i found my G-tech pro last week when tidying up some stuff.

It is a good thread to read.

I wonder what results people would get in the manual box cars these days with launch control and NLTS.

Tempting to go out and play. I have not launched my auto box for ages, I have not had a good reason to.
I just need to hit the go faster button on the boost controler, boost set to 1.5 bar hold it at 3500rpm on the foot brake and let rip.

Probably go bang, but it would be a good reason to fit my SAYC rear diff or even one of the evo X rear diffs I have.

Resurrect the G-tech Pro's

I have no idea where mine is! I wonder if Wodjno still has them for sale.... ;)

I used my UTComp to get acceleration figures from the VSS signal, after having calibrated things properly to GPS spec. Seems reasonably accurate and reproducible. Except for the 1/4 mile time, not enough road for that /Devil5

Then there is the G-Tech equivalent for Android phones - an app called Race Droid. Phones also have an accurate accelerometer, so no wonder somebody made an app for that.

takes a bit of messing with, with resect to rear drive shaft, due to the larger inner splined shaft on the passenger side going into the diff. larger than the VR4 one. stronger, so you have to use the EVO X rear drive shaft and machine it down on the outer end and have splines put back on there so it will fit the VR4 hub. not looked into using a EVO X rear Hub. to se if the stud pattern is the same or not.

I need to check that out now, as I had not thought of it until now. I know the evo up to 9 hubs are the same sud and spline fitting to the VR4 so they will not fit the thicker EVO X rear drive shaft.
need ASA to check a chassis number of the EVO X for a rear hub part number.
