Possible turbo replacement?

Hi guys,

I think the front turbo on my vr4 has decided to pack in. Got a bit of a chattering noise when revved at idle.

First of all, is the front turbo the larger or smaller one?

I've been quoted £4-500 for a refurb depending on what's gone wrong inside.

Does this seem a reasonable price? Or is it worth waiting for a second hand one to come up for sale?

they are the same size turbos front and rear

Sounds a bit expensive for a single turbo refurb. I would have though you could get both done for that price.
