What do u guys go for regarding upgrades for boost controllers mbc or ebc I've heard that a 3 port solonoid with a tuned ecu works better giving more power and better fuel economy than the previous ones mentioned it seems to be the way our friends down under tend to go with any thoughts

This Perrin EBCS (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121600087240/) 3 port solenoid is a direct plug-in replacement for our standard solenoid.

Then, get someone to flash your ECU with an increased wastegate duty cycle, and you'll have improved boost, with all of the standard safety features built into the default ECU.

It's not worth the time/expense of buying and installing a standalone EBC, when the standard ECU can do it all, and better.

I use the blitz ebc with 4 settings just set limit to around 14 psi so it don't over boost and if you get fuel cut just reduce setting a bit I have one setting at standard boost of 7psi one for winter months one for summer months and last one for whatever suits seems to work ok with stock turbos and aftermarket intercooler

I ordered this ECU upgrade chip https://havokengineering.com/products/havok-engineering-1996-1997-mitsubishi-galant-legnum-vr-4-ecu-upgrade-chip. Do you know if I can run the 3 port with these ECU settings or do I need to get retuned?
