As above the thread on the ball joint of mine is mullered and I'm in need of a replacement

Just to let you know You can buy them new for about £25 from eBay.

It is obviously not an OEM part but it should work.

Just check the part is actually the one you want.

They not for VR4 Dave, vr4 ones have ball joint on both ends, na and eclipse have 'solid' inner ends

Genuine Mitsi cost about £80, well that was few years back when i changed mine

My ones are as Dave's link. never seen one with a ball joint on either end? unless you mean that that they rotate due to the bush

Not sure how to explain that, this one in Dave link will only move up and down, VR4 ones have similar looking inner bush but it can move up/down and side to side so its ball joint, looks similar thou
