Not a VR-4 gearbox question but you folks might know the answer.
I've just acquired a manual gearbox from an NA 2.5 V6 Galant as it has a lower final drive. Making the gears longer I'm hoping 1st and 2nd will be a bit more useful in the FTO.
On the clutch fluid line before it goes to the slave cylinder there is a small square shaped object the fluid passes through. We don't have these on the FTO gearbox.. does anybody know what it does? Is it a necessary thing or can I take the line straight to the slave cylinder?
Cheers
