Advice please Transfer box

Rear diff exploded, have replaced with evo 8 diff, have now found transfer box was damaged as well. Reading old posts it seems you can use evo 4 to 6 and 6rs transfer box. Can someone please confirm and is it a straight swap. legnum 1997 auto. Thanks

There are small differences in case design I understand, but as far as I know they are all interchangeable, same spines/shafts/mounts.

Just an update, rear diff evo 8 and transfer box evo 6 lsd fitted and all going well. Booked in with Mitsi main dealer to bleed ayc next month. Expensive though.
