Just thinking of upgrading my intercooler just looking info on ideas people have done what size and something that doesn’t require much modification and what pipe work is needed and we’re to buy tnx in advance for info

Cheap universal 600*300*76 I think is about the biggest you can fit without major modification.

Pretty much anything you get for under £500 will probably be identical, so just get whatever is cheapest or in the colour you want (I went for black so it's a bit more subtle)

You'll also need a selection of elbows and clamps to fit it to the original pipework (see the list in the Staged upgrade recommendations (https://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?75519-Getting-more-power-staged-upgrade-recommendations) thread, and you'll probably want a spacer kit from Grid so you don't need to cut the bumper bar.

Hi seen on here about intercooler piping that I need a 45 and 90 degree silicone piping just looked at one side of the stranded hard piping and it point upward does this have to be modified

Don't bother with one of those "kits" unless it comes explicitly with the items mentioned in that thread I linked. That original bit of pipework you've pictured does not need modifying.

The hard pipe is pointing up 45degree I believe the pfl car the pipe is different than the facelift

I have an intercooler for sale if interested but I no longer have the pfl pipe. Its complete with hoses to bolt up.
