gearbox problem

hello there,
car is still sitting in driveway, damn gearbox, been told by a local mechanic its the bearings, not sure, im gona send the car back to gbh motorsorts in essex and see what they can do,
they have inhouse engine and transmission building, good prices to.
hope it can be solved easily.
anybody know of any one else near the london area who are good with vr4 boxes?

Had mine reconditioned by Ivans Auto's which is on the brunswick ind. est. in Potters Bar. Seems to have done a good job and I thought the price was quite reasonable too (compared to a new box from Japan, that is)
