Have probed around the forum and havent been able to find a definitive figure on how much power can you run on stock head studs . I understand it depends on power and boost levels but just after a general figure . From what I've established anything over the 200kw atw arp head studs are a must

If you are planning on going over 1.0 bar of boost I would recommend them. If you are going over 1.2 bar for sustained periods I would suggest it is imperative. There is no absolute scientific answer, but over the years lots of people running raised boost have ended up with suspected head gasket failure or general coolant leaks, often accompanied by air bubbling in the coolant overflow. I now believe this is nearly always caused by head lift on raised boost and stock head bolts.

Sweet as , doing a single turbo conversion at the moment and just wanting to know what kind of boost i can run till i put head studs in , so will probably stay around 13-15

You will need to upgrade the headstuds with a single setup unless you are using a tiny turbo...

10mm 3sgte ones would be a minimum but 11m evo/2jz ones would be better but that means heads off to do.

Would that be heads off and redrill the holes to fit ?

Correct retapping the holes as well. May as well get your heads serviced and put heavier valve springs in so you can do cams.
