Ayc, TCL, ABS lights constantly on - been told that bleeding will sort the issue but nope.
Gearbox only after making 500 miles since bought in limp mode stuck in 3rd and neutral flashing.
How big and costly will be a job to sort this out?
Thx in advance

Ayc, tcl and abs are all wheel speed sensor related. Do.a.flashy dash diagnosis.

Gearbox stuck in 3rd could be a few things, flashy dash might help with that too.

Check gear box fluid level and quality of fluid.
If level Is low or fluid very brown and dirty then both of these can push the bear box into limp mode.

Yes, flashy dash to get the codes! This feels like it is potentially one fault though. But codes will definitely help!

Well after taking car outside it looks like is still a problem with gearbox. Car going into limp mode if I accelerate and try to go faster.
To be honest I didn't have a chance to drive a car much since I bought it but few things which were a bit odd to me but didn't take a notice as it suppose to be engine donor only.
When I was driving home and try to be a bit hard on the acceleration it didn't change gears, didn't up shift till I let the pedal go and try again but slowly pressing on it. Day when gearbox went into limp mode gears only change when I was gentle with it any harder and just revs up without any up shifting.
Will do flashy dashy tomorrow to see the codes.
I have another gearbox from 2001 galant but don't think that will fit.
Story of my life 3 galants at home and none of them roadworthy.

Check the gearbox fluid is a nice clear red colour and check the level.

See this post by Davezj for the correct method - https://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?73418-Autobox-Jerky-change-4-to-5&p=797052&viewfull=1#post797052

If the gearbox is going into limp mode you should be able to get codes off the flashy dash.

Codes 043 044

If you are getting those codes but the car is still able to drive in 3rd then there is a sensor issue or a solenoid issue. The only time I have seen those codes was when a gearbox had a dead planetary set but that did not and could not drive at all after 2nd.

Finally fixed.
1. ABS ring replaced
2. One of the Gearbox Ecu plugs pin didn't have a contact
3. Gearbox internals used from another car
