Hello all,
I am in need. After trying to get hold of an automatic gearbox for some time, I thought I found one. Turns out, that was a "dud" because an oil line had been worn off on the housing, by passenger side tyre. Now, I can handle some work to get it in right condition but, risk of metal parts in the gearbox, no thanks. Heard too many stories about broken wave spring. (That and welding the pins on the planetary thingy is in my plan to do on a box, if it's not already done.)
Problem - I live in Sweden.
Now, VR4 are not that common in Sweden - rather the opposite.
So, if anyone know of a gearbox either in Sweden (there probably are one or two Swedes on the forum I guess) or Norway (do they even have the option to import the VR4?) or Germany, South UK, would you give me a hand in telling me? I'd also like to get hold of the radiator for the automatic car type, just so you know.
I so badly want to get started on fixing my VR4. Summer 2020 is looming around the corner and I would love to be on the road by then with it. :)
