Marcus has posted this and this is the first time I've seen this thread and I shall be having a word because you can now all see my smalls on the washing line :embarasse :smash:

Dan and Bernie.. I'll get him to take some photos again in daylight :rolleyes4 we'd only just finished detailing it as it wasn't very clean. Polished up quite nice.. few car park dents and lots of small scratches but not bad for the year. The good bit is that the interior is immaculate /yes cloth trim. I'm no good at interiors but I know someone who can do the outside :curtain:

We are just going to leave it standard though. Needed a family car and couldn't think of anything better for the money than the Leggy. Once bitten eh!

Standard? I notice some wheel changing already!

Cool! A 2 VR4 family! Look forward to seeing you turn up in both for the next midlands meet!

I think the photo isn't quite head on (look at the wheel arches), so I'd guess the drivers side hasn't reflected the camera flash.

Very nice car - you must be very pleased.

Yep, well chuffed. The wheels are standard though Nick or at least I think they are. They are mitsubishi wheels and they are the same as the ones that were originally on our saloon.

I have to say that finesse green is a cracking colour. Very dark, almost black in some light and then bright green in others. I love pearlescent colours.

Brembos are a possibility if some come along at the right price!!!

Oh and I am not bragging but we are a 3 VR4 family. I have got a 6G aswell but it is in bits at the moment :embarasse

Cheers Ian and everyone else for the kind comments. Got lots more room now for luggage and pushchairs and another couple of small people /yes The choice was a tough one though... mondeo or other such estate or a MPV or a Leggy ummmmm what to do :rolleyes4 The pug is going in the autotrader because we now have to pay for it and then we should be all square. Still bread and water for a couple of weeks don't sound to bad /help

They are standard wheels, but they were only supplied on facelift cars. I assumed you had put the saloon wheels on the legnum! It is a cracking colour, my first V6 was that very shade!

Nick, you learn something new everyday. I didn't realise they were post facelift wheels. I'll have to search through everyones piccies to have a look at some pre-facelift ones.

It has done 70,000 miles and has a full service history inc the Jap history and it has a Red Zebra warranty on it. The guy who owned it was meticulous and has had all sorts of stuff replaced under warranty that didn't really need replacing but hey it's almost a new car mechanically speaking.

Only thing that needs sorting shortly is discs and pads. Now where is that thread about discs....

Was looking for a blazeyellow 306 TD for the missus a while back - she loves that gold colour - unfortunatly we got a 97 Ford Escort TD instead we could not find any in a hurry!

Bit pricey though aint it - :) :) :) ........ Looked a 306 with part leather, air etc on a W reg for £3200 (70000 miles)
