Hello all,

I've been 'lurking about' on this group on and off for years....Had a few UK V6 Galants and aspired to a VR4..

I've been involved with FTOs for years having owned about 30 of them and having 7 up my drive/s at present but love the Galant/Legnum too. So finally decided to take the plunge and was budgeting between £5-6,000 for one with main aim of finding one without a 'rotten bottom'.

So a few weeks ago I finally managed to find a rot free PFL Legnum Type S in Trigger Mauve and grabbed it quick for £1340...so by my reckoning that leaves a few bob for fixing up...!

Okay it had 'Big end knock' and avery tatty TAN leather interior but thanks to a very nice man on here I have a new engine and this weekend took delivery of a V6 MOT failure with immaculate Black leather so busy busy busy.

If anyone needs any TAN bits or V6 shared parts give me a shout as I may have a few bits left over.

Hello, good to have someone fixed to Mitsubishi as you are on board, good luck with new toy for your collection, if you don't mind posting plates we may know a bit or 2 about this car. It's very small vr4 world.

Plan is to replace interior, swap out damaged engine for rebuild and going back in at some stage,

Then probably a full respray. Been considering colour change to a modern metallic grey but Trigger Mauve is growing on me and would make life simpler (and cheaper!!).

You will find the UK spec seat are a little taller than the JDM originals so you sit slightly higher in the cabin. Doesn't matter if you are less than 6 feet but if you are tall then you will notice it.
