Hello everyone,

I have a stupid question, but it's a question!

I would like to have your opinion on the injector and the voltage. I have noticed on my daily Mitsubishi galant (4G63 EA2) a strange problem. When I disconnect the injector plug and measure with the voltmeter, I find 12 volts.

I explain, when I put the ignition on and I put the voltmeter in the 2 pins of the injector connector, i had 12 volts. What I don't understand is that normally it is the ECU that controls the grounding.

So is it normal?

Thank's in advance

Yes, almost every item controlled by the ECU has an ignition switched power feed, and the ECU controls the ground signal.

Injectors, boost/fuel solenoid, etc.

In fact, most of the car uses ground-switching - all the lights have a permanent power feed, and you switch the ground.
