is yours totallt gubbed or can it be rebuilt? - search for posts on gearboxes and rebuilds - a few have been rebuilt by transmission specialists :thumbsup:

I just spoke to Mo, he has one for £650. He says its a good one.

Is he OK ?

He seems a sound lad but I don't know him.

Has anyone dealt with him ?

Apparently the box is completely fecked, its changing up and down savagely, slips at speed and the torque converter is locking up and stalling the engine at idle.

Has had a leak for a long time and the PO didn't get it fixed, but sold it to me with a good fill of ATF in the box.

Mo can be trusted, he is well known to the club. :thumbsup: To be honest i would snap his hand off for £650! that is too cheap even for a second hand good box! /yes You should expect to pay up to £1,400. At £650 even if it needs pulling apart and putting back together again its a bargain!.

Check cost of postage/carriage as the box is heavy... :rolleyes4

I can back up Simon regards Mo. I bought some headlights from him recently. Happened that he was travelling past my place one day so he bought them with him to save on postage. Yeah, he's good and if he has got a box that cheap, then go get it boy!

I have paid him with Paypal and he is getting the gearbox out right away, even delivering to Xtreme for £30 !!

Thanks for the recommendations, its not I don't trust him but always good to hear that someone else has had positive experiences of someone you don't really know.

I have actually sourced a good box from Japan though, it was very well packaged.
