I did a search honest ,but couldn't find any reference that applied .
Drove home from work this morning and the handbrake warning light has stayed on all the way home on my 7g V6 Sports hatch.
Of course it's an import and I've got no handbook.
Can somebody tell me if Mitsubishi also use this light as an indicator for pad wear ....or is it a sign of some other problem ?

Thanks
Geoff

i have this problem aswell (so many just now)
for me atleast its not pad related, i checked them all and there is plenty left.
Sometimes it comes on all the time, specially once the car is warm.
Other times it will flicker when going over bumps and stuff..

im starting to think mine is a switch issue..
unless its relating to something else, non brake related.

I'd tend to agree that an intermitent problem is a sign of a dodgy wire or switch.
Haven't had chance to check pads yet or time to leave it develop to see if mine is just a glitch.
It stayed on constantly this morning , which is why I thought of pad warning sensor .
