AUCKLAND mini meet.

Hey fellas im holding a mini meet/cruise in auckland all are welcome.Its going to be held on April the 24TH SUNDAY.
If youre up for it the meeting time is 12.30pm @ the one tree hill (monument part at the top of the hill) carpark.
We'll be leaving one tree hill at approximately 1.45pm and then w'ell cruise around Auckland (queen st,mission bay,bucklands beach etc) w'ell make gas breaks here and there (as we dont have toyota corollas that would take 20$ to fill 4 the week).

money for gas incase you run out.
Lunch box (complete with drinky bottle)
And your wallet .
hmmmm yeah.ohh and a map in case you get lost...

There are a few problems I can see with this proposal.

1) The spelling is atrocious
2) I don't think you exactly have much in the way of club member trust
3) We JUST HAD a meet (yesterday), why didn't you attend that?
4) Most of us have lives that have to be organised. good luck in getting a reasonable turn out in 1 week.
5) I don't think cruising in Auckland is a good idea. There is too much traffic, too many traffic lights with gaps between that would not contain a VR-4 convoy and the traffic that would split it up. We also probably don't have enough experianced convoy drivers (Phil did a great job saturday, thanks Phil!) to manage traffic and keep the convoy in one piece. All this means frustration, wasted gas and no fun... unless you enjoy pit racing up queen st.

KRIKEY ive got a few non club vr4 members that are going to turn up.
Theres going to be a sht load of different cars! but there should be mostly vr4's.
The cars ive invited so far .......1989 vr4's,subaru foresters,honda integra,civics,lancers,etc and a few legnums.
cmon guys its going to be off the hook!

yeah 4 clubs turnd up pretty much everything but vr4's:(:(:( a **** load ov bloddy subarus!!!there was only a couple ov ol skool mitsi's (89 vr4,94 vr4 and a ol skool lancer with a 13b in it) and tht was about it !! dam guys wn are u'z gna haff another auckland meet????

Have you guys made any plans for the next CVR4 auckland meeting? Man im desperate to see some legnum VR4 owners (no im not gay).
Man i just want to see a modified legnum VR4's. Dam today my legnums air filter some how disconected from the AFM??. It all started when i went around a slightly sarp corner at about 60k's , the car acted very sensitive to this as thou it was rocking like a little boat. I then went to accelerate and noticed that the engine sounded quite sick, as i changed gears it violently backfired and seemed like it was misfiring. At first i fought that the invecsII had given up on me ut i decided to pull over to check under the hood and found the air filter dangling by the battery compartment!? (Maybe it was a ghost??)

That sounds a bit wierd - assume you have a pod filter then?

Actually it should run fine with the filter detached.

you'll probably find that the afm fell off the inlet , he probably couldn't understand the instructions on the packet of jubilee clips coz they wern't in text shorthand
